My Story
Hi! I'm Trina, mom to miracle twins Rowan & Brynn, wife to Joe, sister, daughter, friend, karaoke star, ex-Spanish teacher, Scentsy SuperStar Director extraordinaire! My journey began 7 years ago when I was high school teacher. I loved my career but felt guilty that work was getting the best of me and I had nothing left to give to my daughters or my husband. After some soul searching, we decided that staying home was the best decision for our family.
I joined Scentsy on a whim, for the purpose of making $200 or so per month so I wouldn't feel guilty about buying myself a latte (Lord knows I needed a lot of coffee back then!) or a new outfit. Little did I know how quickly it would change my life.
These days I lead a team of 1000 motivated, supportive individuals from all over the world. I have created a full time income, my husband and I have traveled the world (Rome, South Africa, Greece, Mexico, St Lucia, St Maarten, Antigua, Barbados, Puerto Rico, Vegas, Nashville, NYC, Spain, France, and Italy- all on Scentsy's dime, with my most favorite being the TEN trips to Disney in the past six year with our girls! It gives me the opportunity to use my gifts and talents and to live my purpose of empowering others every single day.
Right now our life is incredibly busy. My daughters are dedicated gymnasts, with my one daughter having Elite hopes and dreams. I homeschool my girls and we travel hours to our gym numerous days per week. Without the freedom and flexibility of Scentsy, I would not be able to help them chase their dreams. I would not be able to provide for my family while still being a present and attentive mama. Scentsy has given us the ability to live a life we used to only imagine.
When I left my career, although I knew it was the best decision for our family, I lost a part of myself. It was hard to leave a career I loved to become a stay at home mom. Through Scentsy, I am able to have the best of both worlds. I get to show my girls that success doesn't have to mean an 8-5 job. I get to give them experiences, show them the world, and show them what they are capable of! I get to help them pursue their biggest dreams while still feeling a sense of success and purpose. Scentsy has reinstilled my confidence, has shown me what determination and drive can do, and makes me feel empowered every day.
